I just bought one of these but have not received. I have an X-155. The only difference seems to be one pickup versus two. Anyone else play one of these? Mike :)

yes, it's a great guitar, almost disturbingly so, it makes more pickups seem redundant.

i'd have to compare it to riding a small european motorcycle, like, say, a 250 Ducati. suddenly you realize that when you wind it up, the tiny little single cylinder has plenty of scream, as much as you'd need, and you wonder why we bother to carry around big heavy motors with more cylinders.

likewise the single-humbucker X-110 has way more tonal range than you'd expect- cause of course it has the excellent UBC magnaflux II pickup- the coil tap really gives as much tonal difference as a 3-way does in a 2-humbucker guitar. This plus the tone knob gives just about as much tonal contral as you can imagine needing.

Othewise, everything else about it is the same as other excellent Electra Phoenix and Westone Spectrums, superb neck and balance. It's one of the pverlooked greats.

The more I play this guitar the better I like it. I love the feel of the maple neck and the sound reminds me of an old telecaster. Mike
