Howdy all. I'm absolutely new to this forum, as well as to Electra guitars. Great information, though. Thanks. I have a question about the body construction of the 2249 LP copies. A lot of that era copies (such as Ibanez) were actually a chambered construction (hollow under the pickups) instead of a true solid body. Does anyone know if the 2249s were chambered or hollow? Mine's a fan headstock, probably 78-79 vintage. Also, is it correct that the top wood caps came from different sources (some maple, some plywood)? I can't really tell by looking. Thanks for any help you can offer.
