Hello,
With the scarcity of some models has anyone thought of cloning some of the more rare ones? I know it may be viewed as blasphemy to some, reissues are common among a lot of other brands. A CNC machine could turn out a copy maybe with some of the changes that some wish it would have had stock.
I know there is lots of hard wood to be had, I am in the Northwest near the Warmoth factory and hard wood here is readily available. One guitar shop owner turns out among a lot of other things Tele bodies. Its a simple one time setup then it can be programed to the memory.
So I was just wondering if someone had considered that option? I wanted a Vox teardrop for years. I just purchased some figured maple and some walnut to make my own. It's very discouraging looking on Ebay and CL just to find an over priced beat to death piece of junk that needs more money spent on it than it cost, just a thought !!!!!!!!!!

Yes there are new versions of the Electra line available from our own forum member Ben . He had built a modern version of the X210 Omega and it is very nice. he now owns all the rights to the Electra logo and plans on more to come. You can see it here

Hello,
While I am sure the guitars are well crafted and are fine instruments, however is the market ready for another Les Paul copy ? With entry level Gibsons, Epiphone, Agile, all churning them out by the boat load at less than 300 bucks. I was thinking more along the lines of some of the earlier slab bodies. Well I hope him the best of luck.
