Just wanted to know how to go about doing this, the top strap holder and a pickguard screw have become loose, the strap holder actually cant stay in.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm glad you asked, because I've got a guitar that was molested in exactly this situation by the previous owner. What you can do is apply a little bit of wood glue to the inside of the hole with a toothpick. Once it's dry it should thread like new :). Props go to the kind soul who suggested it first here (Corsair? X189? Marky?), because I couldn't find the original thread.

Strap button holes and the like that have been slogged out I generally fix by slicing some matches diagonally lengthwise - to make a very thin wedge - then dipping then in PVA wood glue and then forcing as many into the hole as I can! When the glue dries, get your craft knife and carefully trim the sticky-out ends of and whack in the appropriate screws. Simple, quick and easy!! :D
