Whew! Done, except for some minor tweaking. So here's the setup- mmk45 in the neck,push/pull for coil tap mmk53 in the bridge,push/pull for phase reverse, 3 way toggle moved by rest of controls, EMG 20db boost/overdrive on push/pull with active portion wired for 18vdc for headroom- holy #*@&!, this thing will melt your face off! I'm impressed with the EMG control-boost is adjustable at the knob, pushed down is bypass for normal operation. Wiring nightmare :-?

 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Man that one turned out great. The finish is mezmerizingly great. That is one great piece of wood in this one for certain. Great job saving this one from the firewood pile indeed. Headstock and logo look great as do the pickguard and controls. You are indeed a miracle worker to bring this one back. Salute and congrats on this labor of love and your talent sir.

Suhweet!! One of the best resurrections I've ever seen... I think most people thought this one was done for from the original photos, and yet it looks new now. Looks great monochrome, you should be proud Joe. Thanks for sharing.

Here's the original thread... man that thing WAS rough

Very nice work.

I only wish it still had MPC ports...

Everything else looks phenomenal.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, much appreciated. Ultra,I tried to preserve the original integrity of the body by not adding any new holes, routs, etc. so if wanted it could easily be returned to stock-by the way,PM me your studio address,I get into the city occasionally,be great to meet ya.
Would be nice to find an Outlaw case, let me know if anybody has a line on one.
Well,I need to get back to building a mahogany cabinet for a Mesa amp I have, anybody know anything about dovetail joints? :D
Joe
