Hello!

Does anyone have any info on this telecaster thinline copy? I cannot find a known match for this model.

https://reverb.com/item/12987562-electr ... aster-copy

[*] Wide range humbucker neck pickup, single coil bridge pickup, super vintage sounding pups
[*] The wide range humbucker is stamped with the number "84018" on the back
[*] Output jack on bottom right corner of body (like most Fenders)
[*] Black volume/tone dials
[*] Selector switch next to volume/tone dials
[*] Strings are fasted at the end of the bridge, not through the body
[*] Lacquer veneer over wood, (not painted)
[*] There is no serial number or other markings other than the Electra logo
[*] Body appears far less "yellow," and more tan (will try and get some photos available shortly)

Take a look at Mcbrats Electra model index under 2270C - v2

Nice looking guitar - did you buy it? I had one from the same era once years ago. It was a great guitar as I recall. It was gorgeous but it had a really small and slim neck and I remember it had a gibson style nut on it rather than a fender style. I don't know who the actual maker in Japan was for it (Kasuga? Terada? only speculation on my part).

The only reason I don't have it now is I prefer a medium to larger style neck, and this one felt really small. It is a personal preference thing. If I didn't have the paws I have I would probably have loved it. I played strats too made by the same builder with that same smallish neck. It was unique. It is not like there are examples everywhere so I can't say they all were that way. The model x810s mpcs had smallish necks too, but these strat/tele styles were the smallest. I think the width may have even been a little smaller. If you like slim and smaller necks and don't have sausage fingers like me, or if a kid or a woman (most women have physically smaller hands) it could be just the ticket. It would be easy to reach around and for rhythm playing. Then again, it could just look like the one I had and be a more conventional size, I have seen only a few, maybe 5 or less.
