Super Sunburst (cherry sunburst) set neck LP style, mahogany body and neck with flamed maple laminate top, Super Magnaflux pickups, rosewood fretboard. MPC onboard electronics.

From the 1977 catalog:

Mike says: "Of the three I've owned, I can say these are very light for Les Paul's weighing in between 7.5 lbs & 8.5 lbs. Early years have a plastic nut while later years have brass nut. All three of mine also had different necks. One was thin, almost thin like an SG, one was like a normal LP Standard and one was thick like a baseball bat (I like big necks and it was too big for me). I also noticed that one of them had the 3-piece sandwich body like Gibson did in the mid 70's. Nobody could ever accuse SLM of not adapting."

Pink tag above is from this guitar - bought new in 1979; still have it;
Added TP6 fine tuner tailpiece; this one has a different (bigger) neck than my X340, but has closer action.
